I do believe I have found the culprit...
Notice the red paint on the edge of the bumper...
I told the office, one of the ladies called the person in, and....
SHE DENIED THAT SHE KNEW ANYTHING
WHAT THE HELL?!? I'm not going to confront her today (last day before 11 day thanksgiving break) but come December 2nd... no more mr. nice guy >:)

This is why I park all of the way in the back.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:32 |

That's what I'm going to start doing :)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:33 |

YOU HAVE AN 11 DAY THANKSGIVING BREAK??????
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:34 |
|
Yep ;) however we didn't get a veterans day break (among others) so I think that it all evens out :)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:35 |

She might legitimately not know that she hit you. Of course, that really means she shouldn't be driving...
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:36 |

We have Wednesday-Sunday off next week. But we get 12 days off for Christmas. Now that's a break I'm looking forward to.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:36 |

My sister got no Fall break, and gets a 2 day Thanksgiving break. Enjoy what you have.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:39 |

I know, I'm surprised that he has such a long break. We technically get three days not counting the weekend.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:39 |
|
That is a pretty long break, I agree.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:42 |
|
LOL hopefully we get the same ;)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:42 |

December 24th-January 4th. Gonna get so much skiing in that week.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:42 |
|
HOW THE HELL WOULD (COULD) SHE NOT NOTICE?!?!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:42 |
|
Just call the popo's and see if they'll do anything. I mean yes it's minor damage but it is still a hit and run.
You have proof(looking at the car it's obvious it was her.) If she won't own up to it make her own up to it. The longer you wait the harder it will be. Just what if during that 11 day break she manages to hide the evidence? Then you've got nothing. especially now since she knows you know I would waste any time.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:43 |
|
DAMN YOU! I LOVE SKIING BUT CAN'T BECAUSE KANSAS :'(
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:44 |
|
It's cross country skiing. So you probably could do it, even in Kansas!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:44 |
|
She doesn't know that I told the office ;) For all she knows, the security cameras caught it!
So should I or should I not be that guy that ruins thanksgiving break for her?
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:45 |
|
Too busy texting.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:45 |

I prefer downhill (Look up Wolf Creek!)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:46 |
|
Backing out of a parking spot?!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:47 |
|
Possibly. But more likely, if she didn't notice your car move, it's likely that she didn't really feel it either.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:48 |
|
Nice! I like cross country. It's more relaxed and you can go pretty much anywhere.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:49 |
|
Meh, to each their own :D
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:49 |
|
Stop being so damned English. She's ruined yours, now reciprocate.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:50 |
|
But there is no body damage and only minor paint damage (she scraped a TINY bit of paint off) It actually did more damage to her car than to mine :/
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:50 |

Can you carry a rifle when you're alpine skiing?
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:52 |

I took my car to the Glen for the Rolex race this past summer, after buying it in late November last year (happy 1 year, baby - you know I love you), and came out to find a small "through-the-paint-into-the-effing-black-plastic" nick on my pristine white 'wagen. Words could not contain the anger and sadness as i sulked myself home.
I feel for you, man.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:52 |
|
No, but technically that's a crossbow ;)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:53 |
|
This is the second time this has happened to me... once to the front bumper and now to the rear :(
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:54 |
|
Uh, it's a .22 LR.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:55 |
|
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:57 |
|
Oh... I saw the white thing and thought it was the arm of the bow.... but now I zoomed in and saw the bolt and barrel :( I'm also not used to red (?!?) guns...
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:58 |
|
So...Check the cameras
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:58 |
|
I KNOW!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:58 |
|
Some Olympics thing I presume. Because you're "not allowed to paint your guns"...
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:59 |
|
But this occurred on Wednesday... so it's probably been taped over :(
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:00 |
|
Huh
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:01 |
|
At least in New York it's illegal to paint the guns. I think that's a law here. Not entirely sure though.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:02 |

She ruined yours didn't she? This is not about whose mood you are going to affect it has to do with your the guy that has to pay to fix it if you can't get it sorted out with her.
I backed into a car once. I could of easily just drove off and no one would of known but instead I went knocking door to door to find the owner of the car I hit.
Who cares if she is going to be mad. If she did not want her holiday ruined she should not of hit your car. I the grand scheme of things she'll get over it. these things happen to even the best of drivers. You get it fixed and you move on.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:02 |
|
Minor ruin, maybe? Leave her a polite note, with the photographs, and a request that she come up with some touch-up paint and T-Cut or whatever they sell it as here in the US. Giftwrap optional. If she continues to deny it, and since it happened at work, take it to supervisors. They don't like liars in places of work that I know of.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:03 |
|
I've made the decision to confront her after school...
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:04 |
|
She actually lied already (I know because she walked by looking very distressed after talking to the office...)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:06 |
|
Is she cute?
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:07 |
|
Not really :>l
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:20 |
|
RAISE HELL!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:31 |
|
You should take care of it asap. Don't wait until after break. You won't ruin her holiday. It's a rather minor thing in the grand scheme of life. The faster you settle it the sooner you can both enjoy your holiday.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:37 |
|
RAISE ALL THE HELL!!! No, seriously, do that. It's worth it.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:43 |
|
Don't let it turn nasty. Stay polite and keep the high ground. Good luck.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:36 |
|
I'm not dealing with her (she denied it twice, so she is either innocent or a pathological liar) It all buffed out, some very minor paint scuffing for me. I'm fine with it
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:36 |
|
My parents told me to knock it off and not worry about it :'(
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:44 |
|
Keep your photos, file a police report, take her to small claims court. When shit gets real she just might fess up and pay to avoid going to court.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:18 |
|
My parents are f'ing pussies and don't want to deal with it :'( IDK why
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:20 |
|
My 2 cents: having been booped in parkings in my old integra 4 times, and having been involved in small-scale squabbles, AND a lawsuit, here's my suggestion: this is not worth it. Even if she probably did it, i think just let it go.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:23 |
|
That's what I'm thinking
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:47 |
|
I see, well that complicates things. Well I hope the scratch comes out suitably. I suffered a very similar parking garage scuff with my last vehicle.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:49 |
|
Yeah, it came out fine... the whole thing that made it look so bad was the paint that came off the other person's Civic
![]() 11/21/2014 at 19:47 |
|
Glad to hear!!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 19:50 |

Their outcome was worse than mine ;) All I wanted was for them to apologize...
Technically I could still call the police and file charges for a hit and run accident :) but I'm better than that ;)
